Excel to PDF converts a .xlsx spreadsheet into a PDF that's easy to share or print, without recipients needing Excel to view it.

What happens to wide spreadsheets that don't fit one page?

Large sheets are laid out across multiple PDF pages, same as printing from Excel.

Are formulas shown as formulas or as their calculated values?

The PDF shows calculated results, the same numbers you'd see in the spreadsheet — not the underlying formulas.
